Hello :)
So, I've thought about so many different subject titles for this
email. I'll tell you what they were -
"I have two mothers"
"Car damage again? Check"
"ONE MONTH: CHECK"
Alright so, I'll talk about each one. The one I chose is this week I
hit my one month mark, the day after, sister rash hit her one year
mark, and sister Blake hits her 8 month mark tomorrow. One day for
dinner we ate at the missionary ward leaders house and they baked a
cake for us for hitting our milestones or whatever haha :) I ate 3
pieces.... I have eaten so much junk food, it's so bad. And it doesn't
help that my parents sent me a huge box of junk food in it..... Lol.
But also in that box was cleaning supplies, which we needed, shampoo
and conditioner and toothpaste. So, thanks mom!
The two mothers part, they have like a family line thing in this
mission and my trainers are my moms and so I have two moms lol. One of
the district leaders is my dad. The zone leaders are my grandpa and my
uncle. It's all weird. I don't understand lol. I want one of my
companions to write my family down for me because I can't keep track
of it all haha.
I'll get to the car damage part later....
The weeks are flying by. Last Monday we had to take our car into pep
boys for a oil change. We were there for almost an hour. Tuesday we
had exchanges. I was with Sister Blake and Sister Winters, she's the
sister training leader. We stopped by a few people's homes but not a
lot of people were home. We had a thing called accountability, where
sister winters met with us one on one to see how we were doing. I
cried twice. She had some really good advice though.
Wednesday we had zone training and president and sister Anderson were
there. We talked about listening and how to simplify the plan of
salvation. We role played a ton.
Thursday is where the car damage comes in.. So we had another zone
training and we were getting in the car and we were still in the
parking lot and sister Blake had her scriptures on the console thingy
and they slid forward and so she looked down to move them and the car
went forward and ran into a cable cord wire thingy and it
sliced/dented up the left front bumper.... So we will have no car
again for a couple weeks.... Yay. The second zone training we talked
about how to introduce the Book of Mormon. And did more role playing
lol.
We've done a lot of tracking and knocking on doors and some people are
really friendly but will sadly decline us. We've given out a lot of
temple pass a long cards though.
Jumping to Sunday. Martha and her aunt, and Tanya came to church!!
Martha and her aunt didn't stay the hole time but Tanya did!! In
gospel principles we talked about the priesthood and the different
types and she was super confused.. And in relief society we talked
about temples... Again, she was super confused. We felt so bad. She
felt overwhelmed. It was sad. But hopefully she comes again next
Sunday.
Oh so with tom, we had to hand him off to the elders because he
started getting a little creepy... lol.
Tomorrow is golden retraining!! I GET TO SEE MY MTC DISTRICT SISTERS!!
If you can't tell, I am so excited!!!!
I've used up my wawas gift card.. Sad. I love there ice cream milk
shake thingys. We are going to try and go to philly one pday and I
want a Philly cheesesteak really bad!
I hope everyone is doing well, I can't think of anything else to write
about lol.
I love you all!
I love missionary work!
