Hello family and friends!!!
So I've had like no time to write down in my journal about this week
so let's hope I can remember some stuff! Lol. We had a lot of lessons
fall through this week but also some really good lessons too. We went
on exchanges again. I was with Sister Rash and Sister Jackson. It was
pretty fun. Wednesday night we got a mini missionary!! Her name is
Sister Nelson and she is 16 and lives in Pennsylvania. She is awesome.
Since there was 4 of us, Sister Blake and Nelson were companions and
got to take the car and me and Sister Rash were companions and had to
walk but thankfully we had a member come down from Philly and drive us
all day one day! Thursday we had 3 lessons and they were all awesome.
Martha said she would pray and ask God if the BOM is true. The
Limpruns set a temple date to do baptisms for the dead. Talked to Geri
about her baptism and family history. Blake and Nelson had awesome
lessons too. They set Amanda a baptism date for May 7th! The day
before my birthday which is super cool. Blake and Nelson had a dinner
app at a members house and me, Rash, and Bee got subway. Friday me and
Rash had to walk and my feet were seriously killing me. I hated it
lol. But we showed the Easter video twice and got two return
appointments out of it! This guy came out of his house and was like "I
thought I would come out because I knew you were going to knock on my
door anyways" we were like oh alright haha. We showed him the video
and he liked it and said he might check out our church. Sadly he
wasn't there on Sunday. This other kid was outside his house and we
showed him the video and he said he wanted to start getting closer to
Christ. We had a lesson with him the next day and he is so prepared!
He said he already knows everything is true! And he came to church on
Sunday and really liked it! He said he would be baptized!!
We ate dinner at friendlys one night. I seriously love that place. I
got a turkey bacon cheese melt and birthday cake flavored ice cream.
Delicious!!!
Saturday night we had the women's broadcast and all of the talks were
on service and loving others! It was really good.
Sunday was Easter! Got to sing in the choir in sacrament. We sang two
songs. The relief society lesson was on ponderizing a scripture for a
week and I chose d&c 88:77 so I want you all to read that and pick a
scripture to ponder and think about this week and apply it to your
life.
So Mike didn't come to church :( he went somewhere for the weekend or
something, idk.
